I am both a Licensed Psychologist, specializing in children, adolescents and their families and a Child Life Specialist. I worked for many years with hospitalized and chronically ill children and teenagers at at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto, and St. Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco.

My ideal clients are children and adolescents and/or their parents and guardians who are looking to make the experience through adolescence more joyful. My skill set includes dealing with complex issues including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, mood/anxiety, chronic illness, PTSD, grief/loss, teasing/bullying, fears/phobias, sibling conflict, school performance, and divorce/separation.

I pull from training in psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, family systems theory and mindfulness approaches. I am able to work with both the psychological and medical issues that families face. I use a culturally sensitive, strength-based approach in a safe and comfortable healing environment.
